Part dance lab, part playground, part disco.
STRUT Kids is a 10-week expressive dance and drawing programme for P5–6 pupils.
Blending dance games, freestyle, drawing and collaborative choreography, the project invites young people to explore movement, self-expression and what it means to take up space with pride. Children create their own movement material, building ensemble performances alongside tiny-but-mighty solos that celebrate individuality, confidence and joy.
Powered by MHz’s technical wizardry, each final sharing transforms the school space with big sound, live lighting, VJ visuals, bespoke props and serious strutting.
About the Project
STRUT Kids creates an inclusive space where children can play, take risks and feel part of something bigger. The choreography is built with the pupils — from their energy, humour, imagination and ideas.
Through movement, drawing and collective play, participants discover new ways to communicate, collaborate and be seen. The process supports confidence, teamwork, creativity and wellbeing, particularly for children who may face barriers in traditional classroom settings.
