The project explores the use of bio-based cellular waste such as cardboard and paper to create self-supporting structures and the use of natural fibers such as threads and growing plants as connectors. The project seeks to answer to the following questions: Can plant roots serve as a long-term link to stabilize and bind natural cellular waste to make building envelopes? Which geometry for a structure of waste material is needed to make a bonding between the instable structure and and the plant filling possible? What geometry for a waste structure is needed to allow a bond between the unstable structure and the plant filling?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1177,"template":"","categories":[],"tags":[28,36],"people":[138],"class_list":["post-1173","visionary_projects","type-visionary_projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-planetary-care","tag-the-commons","people-constanze-hirt"],"acf":{"start_date":"","multi_day":false,"is_date_from":false,"is_viewable_online":false,"is_playback_available":false,"links":false},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/visionary_projects\/1173","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/visionary_projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/visionary_projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1177"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1173"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1173"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1173"},{"taxonomy":"people","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.romulusstudio.com\/umarts\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/people?post=1173"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
