UmArts hosts interdisciplinary postdoctoral research fellows based at Ume\u00e5 Academy of Fine Arts, Ume\u00e5 School of Architecture (UMA), Ume\u00e5 Institute of Design (UID), Department of Creative Studies in Education, and the Bildmuseet contemporary art museum. In partnership with departments across the university including: Law, Informatics, Molecular Biology, and the WASP-HS Art and AI research project. The postdocs are a central part of the UmArts research environment developing new art, architecture, design, music and maker craft practices that generate a critical and creative discourse within the public realm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
