We are thrilled to announce the launch of CAPture<\/strong>, a brand new, artist-run publication dedicated to promoting visual arts and writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project marks an exciting new strand of the HND Contemporary Art Practice Course (CAPetc\u2026) Professional Practice and Exhibition Studies programme<\/strong>, which aims to provide a platform for new, emerging, and established voices alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the Next Generation of Creative Practitioners<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

What makes CAPture<\/strong> unique? It is run entirely by the current participants of the HND course, making it a publication born from the energy and insights of the next generation of creative practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This inaugural edition is a testament to the drive, hard graft, and enthusiasm of CAP2 artist, Beth Cockerline<\/strong>, who has expertly brought together contributions from creative practitioners from both within Edinburgh College and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Space for Critical Dialogue<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

CAPture<\/strong> is not just a showcase\u2014it\u2019s a space for critical dialogue. The publication will proactively explore challenging themes of marginalisation and inequality<\/strong> and examine how the artworld is either tackling or ignoring these crucial issues. We believe the arts have a vital role to play in these conversations, and we are committed to providing the space for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
