This innovative Fine Art<\/strong> course has been specifically designed to develop creative practice and equip learners with a range of specific and transferable knowledge and skills required to begin a successful career as a visual artist or other creative practitioner whether through progression onto University or directly into employment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is inter-disciplinary and covers 2D and 3D fine art practice including; drawing, life drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, performance art, sound art, digital, still and moving image artwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the 2 key strands of creative studio practice emphasis is also placed on the Theory & Context<\/a> <\/strong>and Professional Studies<\/a> <\/strong>strands which allows candidates to develop the knowledge and skills needed to progress successfully in their chosen area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is project based and learners respond to a range of creative project briefs designed to challenge and inspire. As well as encouraging critical thinking and individual creativity learners will develop a range of entrepreneurial and communication skills necessary to succeed as a contemporary visual artist or in employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
