Featuring a newly commissioned live folk song written and performed by Lainey Dempsey, the work ripples through expressive movement, song and protest, celebrating the communities who continue to keep the Baths alive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commissioned by Govanhill Baths Community Trust, with research and development support from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland BA Arts with Community Students and local Govanhill schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-top pad has-primary-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Want to take part?<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for a mixed-age cast of 20 local people to perform in <em>The Ballad of Govanhill Baths<\/em>. No previous performance experience is needed.
