Bex designs and leads visual theatre, expressive movement and site-responsive workshops for children, young people, adults and professional artists across schools, theatres, festivals and community settings. Her sessions combine choreography, physical storytelling, improvisation, drawing, world-building and DIY approaches to costume, props and scenography.
Blending movement, theatre-making and collaborative play, her workshops encourage experimentation, collective authorship and imaginative risk-taking. Projects have ranged from immersive alien schools and cyborg laboratories to giant parade puppets, interactive family performances and large-scale public spectacle.
Alongside community and youth projects, Bex has delivered masterclasses, residencies and artist development programmes focused on devised performance, scenography and cross-artform collaboration with organisations including the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, National Theatre of Scotland, Dance Limerick, The Place, Glasgow School of Art, An Lanntair, Govanhill Baths and Govanhill International Festival & Carnival.
Please get in touch if you’d like more information, would like to collaborate, or are interested in bringing workshops into your school, venue or community setting.
